Coffee flavored tomatoes Invented by George 8/18/2011 2 tbsp half-strength espresso (coffee should be fine) 1 tsp brown sugar 1 tomato, cut into scant 1/4 inch slices, then into bite size pieces salt freshly ground black pepper In small saucepan, heat tomatoes, salt, and pepper until tomatoes are not raw. Add espresso and brown sugar. Bring to simmer, let simmer for one minute. Be generous with the salt and pepper again. Refrigerate until chilled. Eat.
